Watermouth Valley Camping ParkWatermouth Valley is a beautiful camping park on the edge of Exmoor National Park and in an area famed for its sandy beaches. It is the perfect base for your holiday.
Park open from 24th May – 5th September. Bookings can be made from the 5th January onwards
During main Summer High Season pitches can be booked for a minimum of 6 nights starting on a Saturday or a Sunday, Bookings may start or end on either a Saturday or Sunday, or mid week for bookings of 9 nights or more.
Last minute bookings may be made for less than 6 nights for a minimum of 3 nights stay.
For the Whitsun holiday, 25th May – June 4th, arrivals can be from the 24th May onwards
This only applies to pre-booked pitches, casual arrivals may arrive and depart at any point, but please telephone us for availability before starting your journey.
Watermouth Valley Camping Park is a family park for touring caravans, trailer tents, tents and motor caravans.
The enjoyment and safety of our guests is paramount, and together with an emphasis on respect and consideration, we aim to provide a quiet & friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.
We have a strict no noise after 11pm policy, and also request that radios and
televisions are kept at a volume that does not annoy other campers and are switched off completely at 10pm.
Groups are not accepted at Watermouth Valley, this includes multiple family groups, maximum two adjoining pitches.
Open fires & fire pits are prohibited, off-ground barbecues only.
Any visitors to the site must check in at reception before entering the camping fields.
Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardian, and as such should supervise the conduct & behavior on site. Children including teenagers must be back at their own pitches at 10pm.
We do not accept mini buses, large commercial vehicles i.e tippers/open back lorries, VW T4 type vans are welcome. We do not allow Caravans & motorhomes in poor condition. Self converted motorhomes are welcome as long as the exterior appears to be a motorcaravan. VW T4 type vans are welcome.
During peak season we cannot accept early arrivals, as we do not have a waiting area on site. There is a large carpark with toilet facilities at Blackmore Gate (3 miles from ourselves) postcode EX31 4NW. Your pitch will be available from 12pm onwards. Please allow plenty of time for your journey, final check in time is 9pm.
Whenever possible we will try to accommodate pitch requests but we do not guarantee specific pitches.
Pitches are generous and large enough to accommodate a caravan with awning and car. But if your tent/unit is an unusual shape or very large then please inform us prior to booking where a larger pitch / twin pitch may be required.
Please ensure that your unit is pitched correctly within your pitch boundaries. Ask at reception if unsure prior to parking your caravan or erecting your tent. Caravans & Large Motorhomes are not permitted in our non electric sea view field. Tents and VW T4 size campervans are able to use the sea view field.
Tariff prices are not to be manipulated, and the owner/management reserve the right to charge a custom price for
non standard bookings or refuse entry to the campsite if needed.
Dogs are accepted only on condition that: a) They are on a lead at all times except in the dog exercise area. b) all fouling is collected and disposed of c) and they are never left on site unattended. d) They are not allowed in or around the toilet/shower buildings or children’s play area.
Dogs are allowed on our beach, Broadsands Beach, Watermouth Harbour, and the local Hele Bay beach. Please note we have goats in a fenced area of the campsite. If you think this may be a problem for your dog then please get in touch.
Please make sure you have read the above conditions and the campsite terms.
If you are unable to accept these conditions and standards of behavior, we respectfully ask that you make your booking at another park. We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these Terms and Conditions, or who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or a nuisance to other visitors, to leave the park immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any costs or losses incurred by you.
The owner or manager has the final say on all discussions.
