What time is quiet time? 
We would appreciate you settling down from 10.30pm, and no noise after 11pm. 
This is both for ours and your fellow campers benefit. 
How can I make a booking?
Fill out one of our contact forms, and we will check availability and get back to you with a booking reference number, or an alternative if we cannot supply your required dates.
Do you require a deposit and when do I make full payment? 
Sometime yes, if we do require a deposit then you will receive a link to make payment with you confirmation.You will have 24 hours to pay the deposit to secure the booking. Full payment can then be made on arrival. 
What time is Check in and Departure?
Arrivals are accepted between 12-7pm, with later arrivals by prior arrangement. Departure is 11 am. Please have vacated your pitch to allow time before new arrivals.
Can I request a particular pitch?
You are welcome to request a pitch. This however cannot be guaranteed and all pitches are subject to change up until arrival. 
What if I cannot make my arrival date?
If you cannot make the date you have booked to arrival, please inform us as soon as possible - if we can let the pitch we will not charge you for the days you haven't stayed.
What if I want to leave early? Can I get a refund? 
We do not offer refunds on early departures. This includes for poor weather. 
Can I have friends visit during my stay?
We do allow visitors on site, for no charge. However, we expect people to be reasonable in return, by not having visitors daily and not before 10am or after 8pm. 
Where can I charge my electric car? 
You are not able to charge electric cars via the hook ups as it may trip all the electric on site. The nearest charging point is at Sandy Cove Hotel. 
Where are the nearest supermarkets and can they deliver to site?
2 miles away in Ilfracombe there is a Tesco, Co-Op and Lidl. You may have deliveries to site, but you MUST collect from the entrance. We do not allow commercial vehicles on site. 
Can I get the bus to local towns? 
Yes, the Stagecoach 301 service runs to Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. A timetable can be viewed here. 
Where is the nearest railway station?
The nearest station is 15 miles away in Barnstaple. This connects to Exeter St Davids mainline. 
Where is Watermouth Harbour?
Watermouth Harbour is a 5 minute walk. Out of our entrance and turn right, follow the pavement until the harbour entrance on the right. 
Where can I launch kayaks etc?
The nearest places to launch kayaks etc is Combe Martin or Hele Bay beaches, which are both 1 mile from Watermouth Valley.
Where can I walk my dog?
Our dog exercise area is above the Ocean View field. This is the only place on site dogs can be off their lead. 
Watermouth Harbour, Broadsands Beach and Hele Bay beach also allow dogs.
Are we allowed Firepits?
You are - however please respect others when using them. They must be kept off the ground to avoid burning the grass. 
And please do not let them lead to noise after 11pm.
May we put up a Gazebo/Event Shelter?
You can - at no extra charge. However please do not let them lead to noise after 11pm. 
Where is the nearest pub?
The nearest pub/restaurant is The Sawmills 300 yards along the road. 
Where can I withdraw cash?
The nearest cash point is on Ilfracombe High Street, Nationwide Building Society. We cannot offer cash back on site so please be prepared. 
Is there a freezer for ice blocks? 
Yes, there is a freezer for ice blocks in the Launderette. For hygiene reasons, food, including ice cubes, must not be kept in this freezer, and will be removed if found. 
Can I play music on my pitch?
Of course. As long as it is of good taste, and not disturbing others. And please don't take offence if asked to turn it down. 
Do you have a baby room?
We do, it is located on the right hand side of the Launderette. Please leave this as you would like to find it after use. 
How should park my caravan or pitch my tent?
There is no set way, however makes your set up comfortable. All we ask is that you stick to your pitch parameters, and do not pitch too close to your neighbours. 
Where are the disabled facilities? 
The disabled facilities are located in Cubicle 8 in the shower block opposite reception. There is no radar key requirement.
Where are the toilet and shower facilities? 
We have 3 blocks, one behind reception, one opposite reception and one halfway up the Valley. 
In low season, we may close one or more of these blocks. 
How long do the washing machines take and how much are they?
Each cycle is 40 minutes - with powder in first. They are 4 x £1 coins per wash. And make sure the lid is closed firmly. 
They will not take duvets however. 
How much are the tumble dryers?
The tumble dryers take £1 coins for 15 minutes. They run concurrently if more than one is entered.
